Kalas doesn’t want to help at first, but Gibari squeeze him down SMACK DOWN style (not that hard tho). We soon notice that Imperial military is in Diadem too and they try to kill King Ladekahn (those bastard!). We meet Gibari, an easy going fisherman who willing to help us to escape from Giacomo and the Imperials. Next, we go to Diadem, The Land of Clouds, a kingdom rules by a hot king, King Ladekahn. I finally figure it out after battling Giacomo for the first time. I’m so dumb… they do provide tutorial, but I ain’t no wasting my time to read some long ass explanations, which I still never regret. I don’t know that photos can be so worth money, so I took a shot of the enemies because I want to max my gathering Magnus collection, but never sold any photos before battling Giacomo. So I wasted my time to try to defeat Giacomo for 4 times, until I won with level one characters and shitty weapons and armors and few healing items because I’m too stingy to buy shits for my characters. Because of my dumb ass-ness, I don’t know that we need to pray at the church to level up. Kalas hates Giacomo for burning his house in Mira and for killing his grandpa and Fee, so he marches to Pherkad to find Giacomo for REVENGE!, but meet (unwillingly help) with Xelha again in Rodolfo’s Estate and both of them chase Giacomo. When we visits Moonguile Forest to unintentionally release the first End Magnus, she becomes a temporarily member before kidnaps by Giacomo. We meet her in Cebalrai, where our first journey starts. Upon seeking REVENGE!, Kalas meets his companions, A.K.A playable characters. A total cutie badass with squeaking adorable noise! Meemai, the brave Greythrone, Xelha’s companion. They speak with squeak squeak language, has many colors, can minimize their size and I bet they are super squishy! Wish to pinch them, hug them and squeeze them! They are also a key to this game. Who is Meemai? A CUTE Greythorne, in fact all Greythornes are super cute!! They are bouncing around in every corner of the world. I thought he was dreaming about his past, but well, everything will be answered in the end (fucking 90 hours later!) After that Larikush tells Kalas to say thank you to Meemai. It’s kinda blurry in the beginning, like WTF is it? And suddenly, Kalas wakes up in a doctor house, apparently he was attacked by Rock Cat (or is it?) and the doctor, Larikush, takes care of him. Both dies in a flame set by Giacomo and his goons, Ayme and Folon. He lived happily with his grandpa and his little brother, Fee. Nah! Kalas is not some lunatic who thinks an alien as his mom and also has a badass mechanic winglet on his left side, created by his grandpa, Georg. I decided to make this review when I was already very late in the game, half of the dics 2, I might make mistakes because I didn’t take notes on it, so please correct me if I’m wrong. I urge you to play it with your own, so you can have your own Baten Kaitos experience. Not a very detailed spoiler, I will tell every plot twists in this game. MAJOR SPOILER!! MAJOR SPOILER!! MAJOR SPOILER!! MAJOR SPOILER!! Wish them will make another Baten Kaitos.
So far, it only has two games on this series, Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos: Origins (And DS game which only released in Japan, so that doesn’t count).

Everything in this game is great and amazing!! I need to talk about this because this game is so underrated! I hope more people look it up, so Namco, Monolith Soft, and tri-Crescendo will do this series again. Great story, great characters, great story, great plot twist, great gameplay (though it’s a bit frustrating sometimes), great 3D rendering in its time, great soundtracks, great great great and great.
